Anne-Marie has felt ''broody'' for seven years.

The 25-year-old singer has admitted she thinks about having a family ''a lot'', especially when she sings her recent track with Clean Bandit and Sean Paul titled 'Rockabye', although she has felt this way since she was 18.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper about her budding maternal instinct, she said: ''I'm always broody and do think about babies a lot - the song does put it in your mind, yeah.

''But I have been since I was like 18.''

However, the blonde beauty has hinted she is not ready to start a family any time soon and would prefer to care for a pet dog instead of being responsible for her own child.

She explained: ''I do really want a dog first though.

''I went back home the other day and when I got there my dad went upstairs and started going: 'Come on, Come on then' as if calling a dog. Then he brings down this fake dog that can walk. But even that is a lot of effort so maybe I'll wait.''

And the 'Alarm' hitmaker has hinted she is also too busy enjoying having her boozy nights out to be a mother.

Speaking about her previous antics, she recalled: ''I ended up so drunk on this plane and I was running up and down the aisles singing!

''It was just like that scene in 'Bridesmaids' when she goes into first class drunk! It was so fun though.''
