Anne Hathaway Feared 'Dark Knight Rises' Script Would Be Lost

Anne Hathaway has revealed that she lived in fear of her precious script for 'The Dark Knight Rises' being stolen - so much so, that she bought a special safe to keep it in, reports BBC News.

Speaking at the European premiere of Christopher Nolan's final Batman movie in London, the actress confirmed, "I did actually.I felt nervous having a script. I wound up getting a safe just to put it in because I was so scared that I was going to be the one to lose it". The actress plays Catwoman in the movie, set once again in Gotham City, and revealed how director Nolan kept things simple to prevent the plot details from leaked. Hathaway explained, "Not everybody got a script.I did but it was just one copy". British star Gary Oldman later revealed that he'd lost his Batman script while filming in March, though eventually found it in his hotel room. 'The Dark Knight Rises' opens on Friday (July 20, 2012), with tracking numbers suggesting it could be the biggest movie of the year. When asked whether she thought the film could outdo 'The Avengers' at the box-office, Hathaway admitted she was "not really thinking about that", adding, "It would be nice if we do well because then that just means that more movies get made because there's more money to play with".

The actress was quizzed on whether she'd reprise her role as Catwoman for a possible 'Justice League' film, saying, "It depends who is making it.If Chris Nolan is making it I would be first in line to see that movie". Unlucky for her, the director has already turned down the project.
