Anne Hathaway Defends 'Dark Knight Rises' Catsuit
Speaking to MTV News, the actress said, "I was not going to admit it: I asked someone to send me a few reactions (to the photo). And I happen to know that Mtv's reaction was meh" Fans of Christopher Nolan's 'Batman' franchise were said to be expecting a complete transformation for Catwoman, but the photos appear to confirm Hathaway's character borders on the traditional. The actress told fans not to make any assumptions, saying, "What I am happy to say is, if you didn't like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do.And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste". The actress is one of several new faces to Nolan's Batman franchise - French star Marion Cotillard is set to play Miranda Tate, Joseph Gordon-Levitt will portray detective John Blake and Tom Hardy will play the villainous 'Bane'.
'The Dark Knight Rises' is currently shooting in Pittsburgh, where the cities buildings and monuments are doubling for Gotham City's. Over the weekend, the Heinz Field sports stadium was used for a scene featuring fictional football team 'Gotham Rogues'.
