Anna Nicole Musical To Premiere In 2011
A musical about the tragic demise of late actress Anna Nicole Smith is set to premiere in London in 2011.
Composer Mark-Anthony Turnage's Anna Nicole will be presented by London's Royal Opera on 17 February (11), the company announced on Wednesday (10Mar10).
Dutch soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek has been cast to play the late Playboy playmate in the show, directed by Richard Jones.
Smith died of an accidental drug overdose in 2007, five months after the passing of her 20-year-old son, Daniel. She was 39.
