The couple were back together on Thursday (August 9, 2012) for the first time since her unceremonious exit in June, and it wasn't exactly all smiles at NBC's Olympics studios in London. Dressed in a fitted blue dress, Curry remained civil and professional throughout, though did not engage in the usual 'Today Show banter', despite Lauer's numerous attempts. According to the New York Daily News, Curry blatantly brushed off her co-host's chitchat on two separate occasions, nodding silently when he welcomed her with "Ann, nice to see you" and then refusing to respond when he signed off with, "Thanks Ann, good to see you". The 55-year-old reporter wore little to no makeup and made no attempt to hide her grey hair, which she had hinted had caused problems at Nbc. In an interview published in Ladies Home Journal shortly before she was fired from the 'Today Show', Curry said, "I've got gray hair because I won't dye it.I'm going to see how it goes. I don't know if it's going to be tolerated. I know women who work on TV haven't been allowed to go gray in the past".

The presenter has been out of the anchor's chair for a month now. She was replaced by the 40-year-old journalist and attorney Savannah Guthrie.
