Remixed by Ryan Hemsworth and featuring guest vocals from Angel Haze, Cat Power's Manhattan - off her latest album Sun - has a new twist, released today. Listen to the remix here:

Cat Power plays New York Terminal 5 tomorrow night (Tuesday, Jan 29) with Angel Haze opening, as part of her current US tour. Re-scheduled UK and European dates are still to be confirmed.  Cat Power is also nominated for the 'Best International Female' award at this year's BRIT awards, taking place February 20th.

New York-based rapper Angel Haze recently came third on the BBC's Sound of 2013 new music list. Upon hearing the news, she recalled the day of the birth of her rap pseudonym: "I was like, 'I have to do something. I don't want the mediocre life.' For me, it was a life or death situation," she explained. "I can choose to be happy, or choose to be miserable every day - waiting until I die."

Cat Power's 2012 album Sun was the singer's first entry in the U.S Billboard chart's top 10, with sales of over 23,000 copies. The album also debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Alternative Albums and Indie Albums charts.
