Andy Griffith Died After Suffering Heart Attack
Beloved American TV and movie icon Andy Griffith died after suffering a heart attack, according to the actor's death certificate.
Griffith passed away on Tuesday morning (03Jul12) almost 24 hours after he fell ill, according to official documents, filed in Dare County, North Carolina and obtained by the Associated Press.
The 86 year old was buried in a family cemetery on his North Carolina estate hours after his death.
