Andrew Garfield Worried About Spider-man Let-down
Andrew Garfield is worried he will betray himself in the new 'SPIDER-MAN' movie.
The 'Social Network' actor is set to portray the titular superhero and his Alter Ego Peter Parker in the forthcoming movie reboot and is such a fan of the original series, he is worried his own portrayal of the iconic character won't be up to scratch.
He said: "I'm very, very excited and nervous and 'Spider-Man' - I'm working hard to make sure I don't mess it up - physically, mentally, emotionally.
"It means as much to me as it does to everyone else. I can objectively look at myself and be like, 'You better not screw this up man. I'm going to be so p***ed off with you if you do."
The British star received widespread critical acclaim for his roles in this year's movies 'The Social Network' and 'Never Let Me Go' and he says he feels "lucky to have been given so many opportunities.
He added to Total Film magazine: "This year has been incredibly rewarding. I've been working with really great, wonderful, creative people. I feel very, very lucky."
