Andrew Garfield - Andrew Garfield To Buy Spider-man Costume For $20,000?

The actor was the surprise choice to play the role of Spider-Man, though his performance is already being talked up on the back of a handful of short clips. During an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the actor spoke fondly of the first time he slipped into Spider-Man's costume, saying, "The moment before was pure bliss and then it was awkward, actually, to get it on and especially to wear". If he can get it at "cost price", the young actor is now hoping to secure one of the outfits, though that would still set him back around $20,000. He joked, "It's an investment.So that when I'm broke - after they fire me from the second 'Spider-Man' movie - I'll be able to sell it to fund my heroin habit".

Along with rival superhero movie 'The Dark Knight Rises', the film is one of the most anticipated of the year and Garfield is likely to sign on for a sequel in the near future. The actor met his current girlfriend Emma Stone on the set of the film.
