The actor reportedly urinated down the aisle of the City Jet plane, causing the flight to be delayed for two hours whilst a cleaning operation took place. Unable to contain his laughter from the onset, Cooper began reeling off a series of puns, beginning with "Hmm, City Jet, I would have thought he'd fly Incontinent-al". He later reported how passengers on the plane began leaking details to the press, saying, "Who could blame them? They saw an actual thespian.actually thes-peeing". As for the disgruntled passengers, the television host had only one message for them, "They should thank their lucky stars it wasn't a depart-doo". One of French cinema's most famous actors, the 62-year-old has appeared in over 150 movies and was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in the 1990 film 'Cyrano de Bergerac'.

City Jet airlines appeared to confirm the story with a series of light-hearted tweets, including, "As you may have seen on the news, we are busy mopping the floor of one of our planes this morning..." and, "We'd also like to remind all passengers that our planes are fully equipped with toilet facilities".
