Anastacia Tones Down Fashion

Anastacia has had to tone down her fashion as she's got older.

The 43-year-old singer - who was one of the star performers at the White Nights of St Petersburg festival over the weekend - admits she has had to adapt her look over the years although insists she is still a ''rock chick'' at heart.

She told BANG Showbiz: ''I love fashion I think fashion allows us as musicians to step out of a little bit of conservative. I do find that since getting older I'm not as edgy as I was back in the day when I had the mid-drift, leather, patterns. But there's still a rock chick inside me.''

The 'Left Outside Alone' singer - who gave a stunning performance at the International Music Festival in the Russian city on Sunday (08.07.12) - admits fashion plays a big part in her life and she's always on the lookout for a new outfit or pair of shoes.

She said: ''I just love fashion. In fact I have a new pair of shoes on, they're actually Louis Vuitton and they're so cute and I thought they'd be good with my dress.''

The International Music Festival took place in St Petersburg from July 6 to July 8 and as well as star performers such as Anastacia, David Hasselhoff, Tony Hadley and Natalie Imbruglia, there was an international singing contest which was judged by Paula Abdul and won by American Tyler Conti.
