Amy Winehouse - Amy Winehouse Tributes Pour In

Amy Winehouse tributes continue to flood in, as the world comes to terms with the singer's untimely death. The BBC have reported that a number of stars have been paying homage to the Rehab star. Mark Ronson, who produced Amy Winehouse's breakthrough album Back to Black said: "She was my musical soulmate and like a sister to me. This is one of the saddest days of my life." Demi Moore tweeted: "Truly sad news about Amy Winehouse. My heart goes out to her family. May her troubled soul find peace." Whilst Chris Moyles said: "Shocking terrible sad news about Amy Winehouse. Stunned. Thoughts go out to her friends and family." Singer Jessie J posted on Twitter: "The way tears are streaming down my face. Such a loss."

According to Mtv, Amy's dad has flown home from New York this morning. He said at the airport: "This isn't real. I'm completely devastated. I'm coming home. I have to be with Amy. I can't crack up for her sake. My family need me. I'm devastated, it's such a shock." Saxophonist Neal Sugarman, a member of Winehouse's backing band DAP-KINGS, spoke fondly of the singer, but revealed that her recent behaviour had been noticeably erratic: "She was a great musician and really open. She was really into collaborating with the band and never came off as being bull-headed in any way.Unfortunately the last time I saw her, which was a little while ago in London, it was not a pretty sight," he continued. "It was real depressing. We cut something that she wasn't able to sing on, which was a real drag.Everyone loved looking at the tabloids but everyone was hoping that she would make a comeback."
