American Pie Star Devastated By Dad's Death
Wisecracking American Pie funnyman Seann William Scott has been left devastated following the death of his father.
WILLIAM SCOTT lost his battle with cancer late last month (JAN07) and his actor son wasn't able to make it to his father's side before he passed, according to friends.
One tells US tabloid the National Enquirer, "Seann is kicking himself over not being there to say goodbye to his dad, but it all happened so quickly."
The Dukes Of Hazzard star does have one happy memory to be proud of - he bought his father a lakefront home in Wisconsin after the 66-year-old was diagnosed with bone cancer last year (06) and visited him whenever he wasn't working.
