Amelia Premiere Disrupted By Paramedics
Emergency services raced to the Paris Theater in the Big Apple on Tuesday night (20Oct09) when a female reporter keeled over, just as Richard Gere was arriving at the event.
As paramedics attended to the unidentified woman, a fan managed to evade security and approach Gere, who plays Swank's husband in the film about iconic aviator Amelia Earhart.
According to the New York Daily News, Gere was left stunned when the autograph hunter demanded he sign a poster, declaring, “Whoa, what’s with the shoving?”
