Amber Riley insists her 'Glee' co-stars are "fine" with their axing.
Show creator Ryan Murphy recently confirmed Chris Colfer, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are to depart the musical TV series when their characters graduate from McKinley High School and the actress - who plays Mercedes Jones - insists it won't mean the end of the trio's careers.
She said: "I think everyone's pretty OK with it - we've had an amazing two seasons and we're about to do Season Three.
"I think they're fine with it. I don't think it's the end of the world for them."
Amber, 25, even admitted she won't be upset when it is her turn to leave the show as she doesn't want to stay forever.
She added in an interview with 'Access Hollywood': "It's been absolutely amazing, but I don't want to be a 30-year-old high school student either!
"'Glee' was just a great catapult for us. Nobody knew who we were and we'll always be thankful for it. It's just been an amazing blessing."
Speaking about the decision creator Ryan - who insisted more characters will leave than stay - said: "We made that decision and I involved Chris and Lea and they thought that was a good idea. They both trust the writing and trust me and felt that it would be great to have an open and closed experience for them to go out while they were on top."
Cory wasn't consulted about the decision, but Ryan explained: "He knew he was a sophomore when the show started."
However, the actor recently admitted he only learned he was through social networking website twitter.
