Amanda Bynes’s behaviour of late has been raising a few eyebrows, and a big part of it has been her strange Twitter feed. This time though, the Hairspray star tried to explain herself and chastise the media via Tweeting.
“I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin,” she posted on her account Thursday.
From her social media presence and media appearances lately, it does seem like Bynes has an intense desire to lose weight, but that hardly explains the rest of her embarrassing incidents. The retired actress also criticized the media for using unflattering photos when writing about her: “They write a news article about every tweet I write and I hate the pictures they choose. They repeat what I tweet then add a bad photo.”
Surely, it makes sense for Bynes to stand against paparazzi culture, especially since the recent media storm around her, but it makes you wonder whether this really is the most effective way to do it. She warned: “Only use photos from my twitter when writing an article about me.”
It's not exactly from her Twitter, but we hope Amanda won't mind.
As a final incentive, she tweeted the following instruction: "I'm putting a photo up of everyone writing articles about me from now on. I ask you to choose photos from my Twitter so I'll do the same.”
Well, how could we fail to oblige after that ultimatum? Sadly though, right now a bad photo seems to be the least of the troubled young actress’s problems.
