Allen Iverson In Expletive Ridden Rant At Cops
Iverson was a passenger in a grey Lamborghini which was spotted by an Atlanta officer changing lanes without signalling. The driver, identified as Antwuan Clisby, failed to produce any documentation and told cops that his passenger Iverson had to "leave to eat dinner". When police made it clear that nobody would be leaving until the investigation was complete, Iverson became "irate" and the officers radioed for backup. The former Philadelphia 76ers star screamed, "Take the vehicle, I have 10 more", before asking, "Do you know who I am?" In the police report obtained by Cnn, the officer wrote, "For the next 20 minutes, Mr. Iverson went on and on about who he was. I stated to Mr. Iverson, 'It really doesn't matter who you are. You tried to conceal your vehicle with a fake drive-out tag due to you not paying for your tags".
Allen Iverson's car was eventually towed away and the 35-year-old later apologised for "disrespecting the police". The driver Clisby was cited for failure to signal while changing lanes.
