Lily Allen - Allen Brands Love 'A Drug-Addled Lunatic'

LILY ALLEN has hit back in her ongoing war of words with COURTNEY LOVE - branding the HOLE rocker "crazy" and "a paranoid, drug-addled lunatic".

The Smile hitmaker clashed with Love at the NME Awards in London on Wednesday night (24Feb10) after the Celebrity Skin hitmaker accused Allen of blocking all other stars from wearing Chanel designs to the BRITs earlier this month (Feb10).

Reports suggested Allen fled the NME Awards in tears after confronting Love over her tirade, but the British singer has blasted claims of a "bust-up" between the pair - insisting it was simply an "exchange of words".

In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, she then goes on to hurl several barbed insults at Love - fuelling the fallout further.

Allen writes, "Just clearing a couple of things up. Courtney Love and I did NOT have a bust up at the NMEs. There was an exchange of words, yes. She's upset because she has got it into her head that I put a lock on some dresses for the Brit awards. She's made no secret of this and when I saw her at the NMEs she tried to talk to me and I told her to shut up, stop spreading stupid rumours about me.

"And that's pretty much it. I would never fight with her, as a rule I don't pick on crazy old ladies... but it's the sort of thing a paranoid drug addled lunatic might come up with."
