Hollywood Celeb...     (33)

I think Mike Starr would want a lot of celebrities to reach out to Dr Drew, because the 'Celebrity Rehab show with Dr Drew' is a very helpful show on TV, because it is very important to see celebrities calling their addiction what it is. They have a lot of fans that do not understand that a lot of hard rock groups are trying to tell their fans that illegal drugs are not good, but when they fall back into the saddle it sounds like they are enjoying it, but they are not. One thing you must remember is that when you call your addiction a disease the concept of A.A. and of N.A. is to say we cannot cure this disease, but there is a power greater than we that can save us from this addiction. People mistake the A.A. program with the (A∴A∴) cult, because they think they can change the definitions to words to better their sobriety. They are drawn into two different ways of asking the higher power to help them make it through the day. Then they try to over rule those of religion that pray for cures to all disease.

Very sad. i watched him on celebrity rehab and I was really hoping he would turn things around. Sounds to me he never got over the loss of former band member Layne. Thoughts are with AIC and your family. You will be missed.
