Alice Cooper was so scared of partying with hellraising rocker Keith Moon he hid away at a secret location whenever the drummer was in the same city.
Cooper was part of a gang of musicians, including The Who drummer Moon, John Lennon, and Monkees star Micky Dolenz, who gained a reputation for their drink-fuelled antics in Los Angeles in the 1970s.
Cooper admits that although he enjoying partying hard, Moon was so outrageous he would try to avoid him whenever the British star was in L.A.
The School's Out hitmaker tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "When you party with Keith Moon your body really knows about it - one time he stayed with me for a week, and I literally wasn't allowed to sleep for seven days. Keith was like a battery that never ran out. It got to the stage with Keith where I'd hear he was in town and hide somewhere because I couldn't face another bender."
