Alex Reid - Alex Reid Had 'No Intimacy' With Katie Price
Alex Reid claims Katie Price's best friends prevented him from having ''real intimacy'' with her during their 11-month marriage.
Alex Reid claims there was no "real intimacy" in his marriage to Katie Price.
The cage fighter split from the former glamour model in January after less than a year of marriage, and he blames his ex-wife's best friends Gary Cockerill and Phill Turner for causing tension between them.
He said: "I could never be alone with her.
We never had any real intimacy. We did have romantic moments, but even then, there was always someone downstairs. Phill and Gary, I called them the Gay Mafia. They were always there advising Kate."
Alex and Katie originally married in a secret Las Vegas ceremony - which he says wasn't as "private" as he wanted because of TV cameras - but they followed it with a blessing in July, and the aspiring actor admits it wasn't a "happy" day, despite being surrounded by family and friends.
He said: "I can't talk about that day. It's too painful. I can't handle it.
"Put it this way. It wasn't happy. I haven't even seen any photos from the day. That's the worst thing.
"My mum doesn't have any photos and that doesn't make any sense. There was a photographer and a camera man at both weddings, but I didn't get to see or keep any of the photos."
Alex also claimed even Katie's friends warned him against marrying her, and says he now sympathises with her first husband, Peter Andre.
He told Closer magazine: "Everyone - I mean everyone - warned me against marrying her. Even Kate's closest friends told me not to do it.
"I didn't see it at the time but now I do. I now understand what Peter was talking about when he said he loved Katie, but not Jordan."
