Alessandro Ambrosio - Alessandro Ambrosio 5 Months Pregnant On The Catwalk

The Victoria's Secret model Alessandro Ambrosio has defied stereotype by modelling for the Brazilian designer Colcci, during Sao Paulo Fashion week whilst pregnant. The Telegraph has published photos of Ambrosio on the catwalk and, despite wearing a large crochet sweater over a short pair of shorts, you would be hard pushed to identify that she is pregnant. In a loose-fitting denim suit, though, the bump was more clearly visible.

The article also reveals that Ambrosio was pregnant when she walked the catwalk for the Victoria's Secret show last November. The Brazilian model reportedly to US Weekly that she kept her pregnancy under wraps, to start with: "When I first found out I was pregnant I thought, 'Oh my gosh I don't think I'm going to be able to walk on the show." She managed to fulfill her professional duties though and kept quiet about her baby news. "I didn't tell anybody so no one knew at the show that I was pregnant," Alessandro told reporters. "A week before, I told my booker I don't think I'm going to be able to fit into the clothes because I gained a few pounds already, but we were just quiet.

Ambrosio is not alone in modeling whilst pregnant - her fellow Victoria Secret model, Miranda Kerr worked at the Balenciaga show whilst noticeably pregnant at Paris Fashion Week last year. Similarly, Lily Aldridge was with-child during one Victoria's Secret show, recently, as well. All eyes, no doubt are on ROSIE HUNTINGTON WHITELY, now, it seems there's something in the water over there at Victoria's secret.
