Alan Mcgee - Alan Mcgee Planning Creation Rebirth

Music mogul Alan Mcgee is in talks to recreate the record label that produced Oasis, Primal Scream and My Bloody Valentine.
The talent spotter-turned-executive shut down Creation Records after 16 years in 1999 and formed new label Poptones, which he wrapped up in 2007, citing financial issues.
But now MCGee says he is "seriously considering" reviving Creation Records.
He says, "Since spending the summer helping curate Tokyo Rocks (festival) for next year it's made me realise I do still love it! It was when I was flying back from Japan with the Primals that started me loving it again.
"To be honest, I am now seriously thinking about restarting Creation, or maybe Re-Creation if I can find the right people at a label to work with. Music needs a kick in the balls, and I have got the music buzz back."
