Alan Alda And Norman Lear To Be Honoured At International Emmy Awards
Actor Alan Alda and TV producer Norman Lear are to be honoured with prestigious prizes at the upcoming 2012 International Emmy Awards Gala.
M*A*S*H star Alda and All in the Family creator Lear will pick up special Founders Awards during a star-studded ceremony in New York City on 19 November (12).
President of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Bruce L. Paisner, tells TheWrap.com, "It is with great pride, on the 40th anniversary of the first gala, that the International Academy salutes these two industry legends, whose work has helped make us and television all that we are today."
Glee creator Ryan Murphy will also receive a Founders Award trophy.
