Akon 'Willing To Work With Brown'

by | 12 March 2009

AKON has claimed that he would be willing to work with CHRIS BROWN in the future.

Brown has been mired in controversy since stories in the press alleged he physically assaulted his girlfriend RIHANNA.

However, the R&B star and record producer said he had no intention of making Brown an outcast because of the development.

"I wouldn't take anybody's personal issues or problems - I won't hold them accountable for that when it comes to work," he told the Associated Press. "I think it's two separate things."

He added that it would be unfair if the young singer's career was jeopardised as a result of the incident, which took place in Los Angeles on February 8th.

"At the end of the day, what Rihanna and Chris went through is nothing different than what couples go through every day," he said.

It recently emerged that Brown will not be attending this month's Kids' Choice Awards.

I agree with Akon 100% People shouldn't judge enyone based on the personal problems or issues that they are having,Especially if you are not aware of the truth. I"m glad that some artist are still willing to work with him and help him out. This issue has nothing to do with the working side of Brown. In my eyes he is still a great artist and people shouldn't kick him down because he's made mistakes. Build him up instead, encourage him! Who knows you might find yourself needing his help one day!
