Lianne La Havas - Ailing Lianne La Havas Cancels More U.k. Shows
11 October 2012British soul star Lianne La Havas has axed five more dates on her U.K. tour as she struggles to overcome a kidney infection.
The singer was forced to scrap the first three gigs of her trek over the weekend (05-07Oct12) after she was hospitalised with an unknown ailment. She was discharged from doctors' care on Monday (08Oct12), but had to cancel that night's show as she continued her recovery.
La Havas, 23, was due to return to the stage in Manchester, England on Wednesday (10Oct12), but she is still not well enough to step back into the spotlight and has pulled the next five scheduled shows as a result.
Revealing the nature of her illness on Twitter.com, she writes, "Kidney infection sucks balls... Gutted about having to cancel dates tho (though).. I've never ever cancelled a show All for the best though. I'm on anti biotics".
The missed dates, including gigs in London, Leeds and Dublin, Ireland, are being rescheduled for next year (13).
