Agron Apologises For Sexy Glee Shots
GLEE star DIANNA AGRON has apologised for any offence caused by her sexy photoshoot with co-stars LEA MICHELE and CORY MONTEITH - insisting she is "sorry" if the photos made fans "uncomfortable".
The actress is pictured scantily-clad in the latest issue of men's magazine GQ, along with Michele, who poses in her underwear in the saucy shots.
The cover also features the trio in a provocative pose in which Monteith is seen with his hand on Michele's butt.
The pictures sparked a swathe of criticism from a parents' group, who labelled the images borderline "paedophilia" and slammed the stars for the "hyper-sexualised" magazine spread.
Agron has now taken to her internet blog to calm the furore by posting an apology online.
She writes, "In the land of Madonna, Britney, Miley, Gossip Girl, other public figures and shows that have pushed the envelope and challenged the levels of comfort in their viewers and fans... we are not the first... I am sorry. If you are hurt or these photos make you uncomfortable, it was never our intention. And if your eight-year-old has a copy of our GQ cover in hand, again I am sorry. But I would have to ask, how on earth did it get there?"
But Agron insists parents should take more control over what their kids look at online.
She adds, "I understand that in today's world of advanced technology, the internet, our kids can be subject to very adult material at the click of a button. But there are parental locks, and ways to get around this..."
