Rockers Aerosmith have pushed back the release date of their much-anticipated new album to avoid a chart showdown with other big names this summer (12).
The group has been working on new material since last July (11), and frontman Steven Tyler revealed in one interview that they were on course to put the record out in March (12).
The album was subsequently pushed back to August (12), and now Tyler reveals that fans are facing an even longer wait for Music From Another Dimension! - it's now due to hit stores on 6 November (12).
Speaking on Cleveland's 100.7 Wmms radio network, he says, "Too many (other notable recording artists) are releasing (new albums) those weeks (in late summer). We don't wanna step on their release dates. So we said, 'You know what, we've got the goods. (There) ain't no doubt about it. We'll wait another couple of months.'"
