Adriana Lima First Pregnant Woman In Pirelli Calendar

Adriana Lima has become the first pregnant woman to star in the Pirelli calendar.

The Brazilian supermodel - who confirmed she was expecting her second child with her Serbian basketball player husband, Marko Jaric, in March - proudly bares her baby bump in a black crop top in the 2013 edition of the world's sexiest calendar.

Vanity Fair Italy reported from behind the scenes at the shoot in Rio de Janero, saying: ''For the first time the Pirelli Calendar 2013 will show a pregnant woman, Adriana Lima, with a visible baby bump.

''In 2004 there was a precedent, but no belly in sight.''

The famously raunchy calendar will also feature 10 other models chosen for their charity work and humanitarian involvement, including Elisa Sednaoui, Liya Kebede, Petra Nemcova, Isabeli Fontana and Kyleigh Kuhn.

Award-winning photographer Steve McCurry, best known for his images of conflict areas like Afghanistan, shot the stunning images. He follows in the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld and Mario Sorrenti.

Victoria's Secret Angel Adriana is a veteran of the sexy calendar, which features famous models in different states of undress.
