Adele - Adele Ties With Titanic After 16 Weeks On Top In U.s.

Adele's 21 has become one of only 20 albums to spend at least 16 weeks at the top of the U.S. charts.
The 2011 bestseller continues to be a hit with fans and has just notched up its 33rd week of 100,000-plus sales to land another week at number one.
As such, the album has become the first to claim at least 16 weeks on top since the Titanic soundtrack 14 years ago (98). One week more and she'll match the 17 weeks Billy Ray Cyrus' 1992 album Some Gave All - and two more weeks ties her with Garth Brooks' Ropin' The Wind from 20 years ago (91-92).
The highest debut on the new chart belongs to the David Crowder Band who enter the countdown at two with Give Us Rest. The Black Keys' El Camino holds at three, Drake's Take Care slips to four and Snow Patrol's Fallen Empires debuts at five.
