Adele Reclaims Top U.k. Album Spot
The soul singer's album 21 is back at the top of the countdown, pushing Dave Grohl's band into second place with Wasting Light. Adele previously made history after spending 11 weeks at number one.
Adele's debut 19 was a non-mover at three, while British pop star Jessie J came fourth with Who You Are and Rihanna's Loud was in fifth place.
In the singles chart, Tracy Chapman's 1988 hit Fast Car entered at four after a contestant on TV show Britain's Got Talent performed an acoustic version of the song and thousands of viewers purchased the original.
LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem held onto the top spot, while U.K. rapper Wretch 32's track Unorthodox, featuring Example, came second. Jennifer Lopez's On the Floor was pushed into third, while Chris Brown's Beautiful People rounded out the top five.
