Adele Reclaims Throne Atop The U.k. Albums Chart
The Chasing Pavements hitmaker has now spent 19 non-consecutive weeks in the number one spot, making 21 the U.K.'s longest-topping album in more than 40 years. Simon and Garfunkel currently hold the all-time record with Bridge Over Troubled Water, which spent 33 non-consecutive weeks at the top, beginning in 1970.
Bruno Mars holds on at number two with Doo-Wops & Hooligans, while Ed Sheeran's + album dropped to third. Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto is at four, while Amy Winehouse's posthumous release Lioness - Hidden Treasures rounds out the top five.
In the singles chart, Flo Rida's Good Feeling stole the number one spot from Paradise by Coldplay, which fell to two, and Taio Cruz's Troublemaker entered at three.
Coming in at four is Avicii's Levels, and claiming the fifth spot is Rizzle Kicks' Mama Do The Hump.
