Adele - Adele Gives 'Middle Finger' At Brits After Being Cut Off

Adele comically gave the 'middle finger' at the Brit Awards after being cut off by host James Corden as she was about to begin her acceptance speech after winning Best British Album for '21'.
As she was about to begin thanking family and friends, Adele was joined on-stage by host Corden who said, "I'm so, so, sorry I have to do this". Adele asked "Are you going cut-me off", to which Corden replied, "I'm so sorry. Here's Blur!". The crowd began booing as the British rockers began their set, and Adele was seen raising her middle finger (presumably to the show bosses who had instructed Corden to cut the speech short). Speaking to Keith Lemon during Itv2's backstage show, the Gavin and Stacey actor was visibly upset when asked about the incident, saying, "I don't quite understand why I was made to cut Adele off", he added, "I was having the best night of my life, then I had to cut Adele off, I'm upset about it, she is the biggest star in the world". Reaction on Twitter was heavily critical, with musician and actor Martin Kemp saying, "Cutting off Adele was such bad news". Piers Morgan, who had been scathing with the majority of his tweets throughout the night, said, "Adele, greatest British musical talent to emerge in decades, gets Cut Off? Classy stuff Brits - what a shambles". Aled Jones, producer of Chris Moyles' radio show, said, "Shame on Itv for making James Corden cut Adele off. That was her moment. Really upset me that has".
Despite being cut-off, it had been a successful night for Adele, who took home the awards for Best British Female Act and Best Album, for '21'.
