Rocker Adam Levine has thrown open the doors of his Los Angeles bachelor pad for a photoshoot with a top interior design magazine.
The Maroon 5 frontman invited editors from Architectural Digest into his 1940s ranch-style home and showed off his ultramodern kitchen, the vintage guitars and grand piano in his music room and his impressive art collection, boasting works by Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol.
And Levine admits he poured over every detail of his Hollywood Hills property to ensure it was just right.
He says, "Furnishing a home is no different than going into the studio and making music. You want to make sure you’ve pared down all the extra details so that in the end, every stitch has a context uniquely yours."
Model-turned-actress Brooke Shields has also put her New York townhouse on display for the new March (12) Celebrities at Home edition of the publication, which features rare insider looks at homes owned by actress Julianne Moore, designers Diane Von Furstenberg and Giorgio Armani and TV mogul Darren Star.
