Adam Levine 'Flattered' By Jennifer Love Hewitt Crush

Adam Levine feels ''flattered'' by Jennifer Love Hewitt's crush.

The 'Client List' actress - who split with 'Eagle Eye' actor Jarod Einsohn last month - recently confessed to having her eye on Adam, who also happens to be back on the market having just parted ways with model Anne Vyalitsyna.

She said: ''I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again ... I'm just saying. Look, we would be cute.''

Now the 33-year-old Maroon 5 front man admits he is flattered by her attention, although he is determined not to read too much in to it.

He told Access Hollywood: ''It's very, very flattering. It's very flattering and very sweet and it was lovely to hear.

''But I'm not going to let it get to my head.''

Adam and Victoria's Secret star Anne dated for two years after meeting at the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue release party in Las Vegas in early 2010.

Anne announced the split in a statement last week, telling fans: ''Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best.''

The pair were rumoured to have had a giant bust up in February, although the 'Moves Like Jagger' hitmaker - who has previously dated Jessica Simpson, Cameron Diaz and Maria Sharapova - vowed to make the relationship work.

He said: ''This is the most functional relationship I've ever been in. I don't want to screw it up.''
