Adam Lambert - Adam Lambert Raising Charity Money For Birthday

This has become a bit of a tradition which started way back in 2009 when Adam was on the American Idols tour after the competition, and he was getting showered with lots of gifts and couldn't keep them all on the tour bus, especially as many of them were bulky or inappropriate, and he felt that it was a shame that people spent so much money on gifts for him which were going to waste. So he announced that if people wanted to send him a gift that they should donate money to the Donors Choose charity instead which provides arts materials for struggling schools in the US, and a page was set up on the charity website for this purpose. Since then many charities have benefited from this similar schemes and Adams Birthday is when most of the gift giving effort is focused.
