Adam Lambert may still have a sore head this morning, after he and his reality star boyfriend were arrested for drunkenly brawling outside a Finnish gay bar during the early hours of Thursday (December 22, 2011).
The American Idol alum and his TV star beau Sauli Koskinen were arrested and jailed but released several hours later after it was determined that neither had suffered injuries. According to US weekly magazine, police say they do not intend to pursue criminal charges. Speaking to his Twitter fans following his release, Lambert tweeted a series of equations, saying, "Jetlag plus Vodka equals blackout", before adding, "Us plus blackout equals irrational confusion", and finally, "jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it". The multi-million selling singer later posted a lengthier reflection of the incident, explaining "Violence is not to be taken lightly. Embarrassed by drunkenness. No punches thrown, no injuries and no charges. Media always exaggerates". It's not the first time an intoxicated Lambet has caused a scene - in March 2011 he reportedly crashed Lady GaGa's birthday party at L.A's La Cita Mexican Restaurant, with Perez Hilton later telling the Morning Dish radio program that he "showed up beyond drunk".
Adam finished as runner-up on the 2009 series of American Idol, while his boyfriend Koskinen rose to fame by winning the Finnish version of Big Brother in 2007. The pair have been dating since 2010.
