Adam Clayton - Adam Clayton's Trial Postponed

The U2 star's ex-employee, Carol Hawkins, has been accused of misappropriating the bassist's funds and dipping into his bank account from 2005 to 2008 to the tune of $2.56 million (£1.6 million).

The Irish musician fired Hawkins in 2009 and filed suit against the 47 year old that year after she personally confessed to the crime. She's since disputed the sum of money involved.

Last year (11), she was charged with 184 counts of theft and the pair was due to face off at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court last week (02May12).

However, the case was adjourned and Clayton's attorney, Colm O Briain, moved to push the trial to a later date.

According to the Irish Examiner, a tentative date has been set for 6 June (12).
