The death of actress and television presenter Natasha Collins is thought to be "non-suspicious at this stage", an inquest has heard.
On Monday a Scotland Yard spokeswoman said a post-mortem had proved "inconclusive", adding that further tests would now be carried out on the body of the 31-year-old, who was found dead in north London last Thursday.
Her body was discovered at the St John's Wood flat she shared with boyfriend and fellow TV presenter Mark Speight.
Detective Inspector Simon Whittaker told today's hearing at Westminster coroner's court that Ms Collins' death was not suspicious, but added the cause of death was "unascertained and subject to further investigation".
Mr Speight was arrested after the discovery of Ms Collins' body and bailed until the beginning of February on suspicion of murder and supplying cocaine.
The 42-year-old presented of CBBC's SMArt has denied responsibility over Ms Collins' death, and was said to be "distraught" upon his arrest.
Speaking at the weekend, Ms Collins' family echoed these sentiments.
"We are all absolutely distraught over the death of Natasha," a statement issued through police read.
"She was our loving, caring daughter who was always full of life. This is a very emotional time for us as a family. We ask simply to be allowed to grieve at this time."
