Actor Larry D. Mann has died. He was 91.
Mann passed away on Monday (06Jan14) in Los Angeles of age-related causes, his son confirms to The Hollywood Reporter.
The actor's biggest role was as the voice of Yukon Cornelius in the animated holiday favourite Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, but also appeared in films such as The Sting and In the Heat of the Night, as well as Tv series including Gunsmoke and Bewitched.
Mann last appeared on the U.S. Tv show Homefront, before retiring from the business in 1991.
Many ticket-holders couldn't get into the O2 Arena show on Tuesday night (September 19th) because they didn't bring photo ID to match their booking.
An album re-release, a new song and a documentary mark the singer's legacy this year.
The actor plays the titular hero in the forthcoming adaptation.
