A$ap Mob Hit With New Lawsuit
16 July 2012South By Southwest stage manager Anthony Montalbano claims the hip-hop collective, fronted by A$AP Rocky, "beat the hell" out of him when he tried to remove its sound equipment from the stage during a Fader Fort Music Fest party last October (11).
Montalbano reportedly required 10 stitches to patch up his injuries and now he has launched a legal battle against A$AP Mob for assault and battery, as well as emotional distress. Bosses at Sony Music Entertainment, the group's label, and Fader Media Network were also named in the suit for allegedly failing to provide him with proper security.
The papers were filed at the New York County Supreme Court and Montalbano is seeking compensatory and punitive damages to cover his medical bills, according to Courthouse News.
