Late R&B star Aaliyah is at the centre of a new legal battle over the rights to her hit albums.
Bosses at publishing firm Reservoir Media Management are suing executives at Craze Productions over allegations the company has been selling the singer's double-platinum releases Aaliyah and One In A Million via digital retailer iTunes.
Reservoir chiefs maintain they acquired the music rights last year (12) and the company is the sole owner of the songs in question.
According to Tmz.com, lawyers representing Reservoir have asked a judge to ban Craze from selling any more of Aaliyah's tracks.
The Are You That Somebody? hitmaker died in a plane crash in the Bahamas on 25 August, 2001, when she was just 22 years old.
