A Weekend Rife With X Factor Controversy, What's Destined for Ella Henderson?
20 November 2012A Weekend Rife With X Factor Controversy, What's Destined for Ella Henderson?
This weekend's X Factor results night saw the show's two favourites, James Arthur and Ella Henderson in the bottom two, and when left to the public vote, saw Ella Henderson leave the show.
This result has left waves of shock and disgust among fans and the judges alike. Nicole Scherzinger lost herself a little bit in an interview later and used the F-word when introducing her act James Arthur. When voting, Scherzinger turned to Ella and said "You are meant for the stars my love, I have no worries about you", according to EntertainmentWise. Tulisa Contostavlos expressed her disappointment via Twitter, saying:
Completely devastated we lost Ella last night. I still can't believe it

Ella also paid thanks and tribute to her mentor in a tweet:
Just wanna say what an amazing mentor I had! A true friend for life!! @officialtulisa #THANKYOU .. U brought the female boss out of me! X❤

Despite leaving at 6th in the competition, there is hope yet. The X Factor for many artists is merely a platform to greatness and some of the most successful artists from the show haven't been the winners. Notably, One Direction who have taken both sides of the Atlantic by storm smashing records here, there and everywhere, came third in the competition back in 2010. Only yesterday it was announced that both their single 'Little Things' and their album 'Take Me Home' are number one in both charts. We're pretty sure Ella will encounter the same fate. Not only does she have a truly brilliant voice, she's also a talented song writer, as we discovered way back in her first audition, and furthermore, she's humble and likeable. In fact, dare we say it, she reminds us a little of Adele! If that's a judgement to go by, though we may eat our words in the near future, she's onto a winner.
Having begun with the words 'I really want to mentor you' she's now had to say goodbye to Ella on the show, but Tulisa knows that her little protégée wont simply stop here.
She will be missed but I know will go on to become massively successful
