A Day To Remember Axe Gig Due To Snow Storm
The Florida-based band had planned to fly to the U.K. earlier this week (begs24Jan11) ahead of their gig at Glasgow's O2 Academy on Friday, but heavy snowfall grounded their plane, forcing them to scrap the show.
In a statement released on Thursday (27Jan11), the group says, "We hate having to do this, but due to bad weather keeping us in the USA, we're postponing tomorrow's show.
"We have our new flights booked, we're ready to go, and we apologise for the inconvenience. We will see you guys very very soon!"
States including New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts ground to a halt on Thursday (27Jan11) after more than 15 inches (38.1 centimetres) of snow was dumped across America's East Coast.
A Day To Remember is expected to make it across the Atlantic Ocean in time for their next gig in Manchester, England on Sunday (30Jan11).
The rockers have rescheduled the cancelled show for Monday (31Jan11).
