Page 50 - 50 Cent - 50 Cent And Lloyd Banks Speak Through Lawyers
Rapper 50 Cent has not spoken to his childhood friend and G-Unit bandmate Lloyd Banks in nine months, revealing they only communicate via their lawyers.
Banks, who is signed to the In Da Club hitmaker's G-Unit Records, has been working on a follow-up to his last solo album, 2010's H.F.M. 2 (The Hunger for More 2), but 50 Cent admits he has no idea how his pal has been doing.
In an interview with Los Angeles' Power 106 radio station, he says, "He (Banks) goes through these things where he goes and there's no communication and then he goes off and he does what he wants. And because I want them to be individuals and operate on they own, away from me, I'm fine with it.
"I'll tell his lawyers (what he needs to do) 'cause his lawyers tell me (what he's up to) and I tell them to make sure that he does things."
But 50 Cent insists he's not worried about Banks - because it's not the first time he has hidden himself away to have some time to himself.
The hip-hop mogul adds, "This is the second time that this has happened. Banks tucked away for almost a year after his father passed."
And he's confident he will one day reunite onstage with his G-Unit pals Banks and Tony Yayo: "When the stars line up, it'll be all good."
