Justin Bieber - 5 #1 Albums Before the age of 19? Justin Bieber's Doing Something Right
06 February 20135 #1 Albums Before the age of 19? Justin Bieber's Doing Something Right
Justin Bieber gets a lot of flack from most people over the age of 15, but he's managed to score 5 number one albums before he's even 19, so he certainly must be doing something very, very right. His latest album is an all acoustic arrangement which strips him back to the bare bones of his talents.
He used to have that silly hair, and he seems to have some kind of obsession with sneakers, and he sings a song with the lyrics 'baby, baby, baby, ooh'. Nothing in that list of attributes truly tells anyone that JB was ever going to be a success, and yet, he's a multimillionaire singer whose sold (literally) millions of albums.
In this, its first week of release, Believe Acoustic sold 211,000 copies. As Billboard reports, around 75% of those sales were purely digital, and a further large percentage of that from pre-orders. It was available for pre-order way back on December 21st, hitting just the right time for the Christmas shop rush.
As well as 8 tracks that are new, acoustic and/or live version of tracks from the Believe album, he's also added three new ones, "Yellow Raincoat," "I Would" and "Nothing Like Us." The album itself is a pleasant listen and is a great way to show those unbelievers he's talented.
