ZOMBIE SLAMS RECORD LABEL OVER ALBUM 'MESS'

ROB ZOMBIE has slammed executives at his record label - accusing them of mis-managing his new album and turning the record into "a chaotic mess."
The musician-turned-movie director has been forced to delay the release of his upcoming CD Hellbilly Deluxe 2 and claims the decision was made after music bosses at Geffen failed to allow enough time to promote the album properly.
He tells Billboard.com, "Everything was turning into a chaotic mess. Basically the label wasn't really in a position to promote it or deal with it (the album). It was basically everything, from getting advance copies to the press to... there wasn't even time to make a video (for the first single, What?).
"There was the sense that every little thing about the record was rushed - not the music, 'cause that was done for a long time, and that was the thing that was so annoying. We spent so much time crafting the record, we didn't want it to be something that was so chaotic that it became, 'Oh, that's done and gone' two weeks later."
Hellbilly Deluxe 2 was due to hit stores on 17 November (09) but has now been slated for a 2010 release date.
