Have just seen Billy Zane in the last but one performance of "6 dance lessons
in 6 weeks". Initially, I went to see Claire Bloom (his co-star) Have never
seen nor heard of him before but I was bowled over by his performance and stage
presence.
I cannot believe he had stage fright - as he comes across so confident. He's a
stunning actor and comedian, tall, handsome, a superb dancer and wonderfully
dressed. He played the part of a dance teacher going to retired Claire Bloom's
apartment to give private lessons.
A wonderful show - I cannot understand why it was not on longer when you think
of some of the mediocrity in the West End that endures.
I hope to see more of Billy Zane.
