YORKE'S NEW BAND IS A SUCCESS

RADIOHEAD star THOM YORKE is planning more concerts with his new band after fans loved their initial live shows.
The rocker recruited four other musicians, including Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, to form the as-yet-unnamed group for a handful of gigs in Los Angeles earlier this month (Oct09).
And the response to the unexpected concerts was so enthusiastic, Yorke is determined to reform the group again next year (10).
Speaking to the crowd at the last of the shows at the Orpheum Theatre on Monday (05Oct09), Yorke announced, "We're going to do this again next year some time," - prompting raucous cheers from the audience.
