YORKE BLAMES LACK OF LOOKS FOR LIMITED FAME
RADIOHEAD frontman THOM YORKE cites the band's looks as the reason they are not more famous.
The British rocker, who is better known for his musical talents than his pop star attractiveness, spoke out at their gig at the All Points West music festival in New Jersey on Saturday (09Aug08).
And Yorke was keen to point out the contrasts between his band and the Kings Of Leon - insisting if Radiohead were as handsome as the U.S. group, they would have enjoyed more success.
After dedicating a song to the rockers, Yorke told the crowd, "If we were that good looking we'd be famous."
The comment comes just days after Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher branded Radiohead fans "ugly and boring".
